Lavanya Neti graduated from the Wharton School of Business, studying Finance and Statistics. With a passion for leveraging data analytics and financial strategies to launch and execute impactful projects, she has gained hands-on experience in investment banking, research, and teaching.
Lavanya works as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Wells Fargo's Technology Coverage group, where she contributes to financial modeling and market analysis for late-stage tech companies. Previously, as a research assistant to the Wharton Graduate Office and Office of the Vice Dean, she analyzed the annual MBA Stakeholder survey and presented solutions to improve organizational equity to the 7 graduate offices. Lavanya has also served as the Head Teaching Assistant and Teaching Assistant for Wharton's Python for Data Science (STAT 4770/7770) undergraduate and graduate courses for 4 semesters; she also served as the TA for Penn's Impact Investing (FNCE 2540/7540) classes.
Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, Lavanya is a dedicated leader in wellness initiatives at Wharton, previously having served as the Co-Chair for Wharton Wellness. She launched and led Resilience@Wharton and spearheaded wellness events that engaged hundreds of students.
In addition to her academic and professional achievements, Lavanya is a passionate scuba diver, stand-up comedian, and travel vlogger.
